Next Generation Jazz Festival Presented by the Monterey Jazz Festival

The world renowned Monterey Jazz Festival salutes the future stars of jazz in its 7th Annual Next Generation Festival, April 1 - 3, 2011 in downtown Monterey, California. The event honors the rising stars of jazz with a showcase for big bands, combos, vocal ensembles, and individual musicians from around the country, vying for trophies, scholarships, cash prizes, and a spot on the stages of the Monterey Jazz Festival, September 16 - 18, 2011. 3,000 attendees expected.
